Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley

Continuing your journey, you’ll pass through the beautiful Valley of Roses, known for its fragrant fields and traditional rosewater production. This stop offers a unique sensory experience and a chance to discover local products crafted from freshly harvested roses.

Later, you’ll reach the peaceful Todgha Oasis, surrounded by lush palm groves and stunning natural scenery. It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere before heading onward.

The day concludes in Boumalne Dades, the gateway to the impressive Dades Gorge, where you’ll spend the night and prepare for the adventures still to come.

Day 2 : Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert 

On the second day of your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, the scenery shifts dramatically as you venture deeper into Morocco’s desert landscapes. Leaving Boumalne Dades behind, the rugged Atlas Mountains slowly give way to the wide, open horizons of the Sahara.

Your journey takes you through the spectacular Todgha Gorge, where towering cliffs form a striking natural canyon. Continuing onward, you’ll pass through Tinejdad, a peaceful oasis town known for its traditional mud-brick architecture that blends harmoniously with the surrounding desert.

As you near Merzouga, the landscape transforms into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi an iconic sight that marks the gateway to the Sahara. Here, you’ll set off on a memorable camel trek across the dunes, just as the sun sets and paints the dunes in warm, glowing tones.

The day ends in a traditional desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner under a sky full of stars, accompanied by the rhythms of Berber music. This magical evening in the heart of the Sahara is sure to be one of the most unforgettable moments of your journey.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Draa valley – Ouarzazat

Day 3 of your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Wake up to the serene beauty of the Sahara. The first light of dawn touches the dunes. After breakfast, we say goodbye to Erg Chebbi, and start your return journey through the varied scenery of Morocco.

Journey through the verdant Draa Valley, a beautiful oasis of palm trees and ancient fortified villages. This green streak forms a beautiful contrast to the desert and a glimpse into traditional life which has survived for generations. You will pass through the quiet village of Nkob, famous for its clay architecture and peaceful atmosphere.

Continuing onward, you’ll reach Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, you can visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah, a grand fortress that reflects the region’s rich past and architectural elegance.

The day ends in Ouarzazate, where you can relax and reflect on the incredible journey so far, surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of southern Morocco.

Day 4: Ouarzazat – Marrakech 

On the fourth and final day of your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, you’ll leave Ouarzazate and begin your return journey to Marrakech, enjoying a final blend of history and stunning scenery.

Before leaving, you have the opportunity to visit the famous film studios of Ouarzazate where many famous movies and series were shot and get an idea of the cinematic world of Morocco. Then cross the Atlas Mountains, snaking your way along the roads and taking in the magnificent panoramic views. A stop at the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest point of the route, is a perfect opportunity to admire the surrounding landscapes.

On the way, you may also stop at the hidden Kasbah Telouet, a historic residence of the Glaoui family, known for its intricate design and rich heritage.

By the end of the day, you’ll arrive back in Marrakech, marking the end of your desert adventure. With memories of vast dunes, ancient kasbahs, and dramatic mountain scenery, this journey offers a true immersion into Morocco’s beauty and culture.
