Day 1: Casablanca – Volubilis – Fes
Your journey begins in Casablanca with a morning departure toward Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites. Explore the ancient Roman ruins, impressive columns, and well-preserved mosaics while discovering the history of this fascinating site. Continue to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun for a short stop and enjoy the panoramic views of this historic pilgrimage town. Then continue to Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and enjoy some free time to explore the surroundings of the Medina. Overnight in Fes.
Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, depart Fes and cross the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its charming architecture and nearby cedar forests, before continuing toward Midelt. After lunch, drive through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its green palm oasis surrounded by dramatic landscapes.
Continue toward the Sahara Desert and arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Here, enjoy an unforgettable camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You may also have the opportunity to taste Medfouna, a traditional Berber dish often known as Berber pizza.
Continue through the Todra Valley toward the spectacular Todra Gorge. Take a walk between its impressive limestone cliffs and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. Afterwards, continue through the scenic landscapes of the Dades Valley, passing Berber villages and palm groves. Arrive at your accommodation in the evening and relax. Overnight in Dades.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, continue toward Ouarzazate through the beautiful Valley of Roses and Skoura palm grove. Stop to admire the traditional landscapes and historic kasbahs before reaching Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its famous film locations and studios.
Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Day 5: Marrakech – City Tour & Departure
