Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley

Start your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with an early morning drive through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains and the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering panoramic views of traditional Berber villages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Ben Haddou, a famous ancient kasbah featured in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where you can explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios, Africa’s largest film studio. After lunch, travel through the beautiful Valley of Roses and Skoura Oasis with its palm groves and mud-brick kasbahs before reaching Boumalne Dades for a relaxing overnight stay and traditional Moroccan dinner surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert 

After breakfast, continue your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga through the spectacular Todra Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls and breathtaking scenery.

Travel through the desert towns of Tinejdad and Erfoud, where you can discover local markets and fossil workshops showcasing the region’s prehistoric heritage.

By afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and begin an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. End the day at a traditional Berber desert camp, enjoying a Moroccan dinner, local music, and a magical night beneath the Sahara stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Marrakech

On the final day of your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, your driver will wake you early to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise. As the first rays of the sun begin to warm the air and melt away the coolness of the night, you’ll experience the magic of dawn in the Sahara—a sight unlike any other sunrise you’ve seen before.

Following this mesmerizing start to your day, you’ll enjoy breakfast at your desert camp. Afterward, you’ll embark on a camel ride back to Merzouga, where you’ll meet your driver to continue the journey. The return route to Marrakech will take you through a scenic and diverse landscape, passing through Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob, and the Draa Valley’s Agdz before reaching Ouarzazate.
