Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Your 12 Days Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech begins with your arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule and arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore some of the city’s highlights, including the famous Hassan II Mosque, beautifully located beside the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, enjoy some free time to relax and recover from your journey. Dinner and overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we leave Casablanca and travel north toward Rabat, Morocco’s modern capital and one of its four imperial cities. Here, we visit some of the city’s most important landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After exploring Rabat, we continue our journey through northern Morocco and the beautiful landscapes of the Rif Mountains toward the famous blue city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to walk through its charming blue-painted streets and peaceful medina. Dinner and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning in Chefchaouen before leaving for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the impressive ruins, mosaics, and ancient structures before continuing to Meknes, another of Morocco’s imperial cities. Depending on the available time, visit some of its historic monuments and impressive gates. Later, we continue toward Fes, where we check into our accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and one of the country’s most important cultural and spiritual centers. Accompanied by a local guide, discover the fascinating old medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its narrow streets, traditional souks, artisan workshops, and historic monuments. Visit the famous Royal Palace gate, the traditional tanneries, Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, and other important landmarks. You will also enjoy a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the ancient medina. After a full day of sightseeing, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight in Fes.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, we begin our journey toward the Sahara Desert. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its clean streets, European-style architecture, and cool mountain climate. We then continue to the Cedar Forest, where you may see the famous Barbary macaques. Afterward, we travel through Midelt and along the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its impressive palm groves and dramatic landscapes. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere and spend the night in a comfortable hotel or riad near the dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert Adventure

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the fascinating Merzouga region. We may visit nomadic families living in the desert and learn about their traditional lifestyle before continuing to Khamlia village, known for its authentic Gnawa music and welcoming atmosphere. You can also explore the surrounding desert landscapes and visit seasonal lakes or local villages, depending on the time of year. In the late afternoon, prepare for the highlight of the journey: a camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop along the way to admire the spectacular Sahara sunset before reaching your desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional music around the campfire, and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to admire the magical sunrise over the Sahara dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, we continue toward Rissani, known for its traditional market and historical importance as a former trading center. We then pass through Erfoud, famous for its fossils and date palms, before reaching Tinghir. Here, we visit the spectacular Todgha Gorge, where high limestone cliffs rise dramatically on both sides of a narrow valley. After enjoying this natural wonder, we continue through beautiful desert and mountain landscapes to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in the Dades Valley.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, continue through the beautiful Dades Valley and travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” We continue to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages, featured in several international films and television productions. After exploring the kasbah, we cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying beautiful panoramic views and several photo stops along the way. By the end of the day, arrive in Marrakech for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Explore Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant imperial cities. Discover the historic medina, colorful souks, beautiful palaces, gardens, and important monuments. Continue to the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, where storytellers, musicians, food stalls, and local performers create a unique atmosphere. After the guided visit, enjoy some free time to explore Marrakech at your own pace. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira Day Trip

After breakfast, travel to the charming Atlantic coastal city of Essaouira. Explore its UNESCO-listed medina, historic ramparts, traditional fishing port, and beautiful beaches. Enjoy free time for lunch, shopping, or a relaxing walk along the Atlantic coast before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 11: Free Day in Marrakech

Today is free for you to enjoy Marrakech at your own pace. You may relax at your riad, explore the souks, revisit your favorite attractions, or choose an optional activity such as a traditional hammam, cooking class, or excursion. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the city before the end of your Moroccan adventure. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 12: Departure from Marrakech or Casablanca

After breakfast, your 12 Days Tour from Casablanca comes to an end. Depending on your flight arrangements, we will transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure.
